Peeking Under the Rocks: An Unlikely Journey into the Catholic Church - Hardcover

by Timothy H. Moore (Author)

A life-long Protestant examines the underlying Biblical data for his Christian beliefs alongside the Catholic understanding to compare and contrast real or perceived differences between the two Christian traditions. The widely used Protestant Scriptures (KJV) are primarily used to analyze certain topics of difficulty, but also citations from the Catechism of the Catholic Church in order to get an accurate statement on each topic. Appeals to the Church Fathers are few, only being used for historical context. Reason, logic and science are employed where the Biblical data is thin. This book reflects the author's journey and conversion from Protestantism to Catholicism.
